This is an old hand carved boomerang of the bird hunting style, probably made in South Eastern Australia sometime during the 1930's. There are carvings across the boomerang of an emu and a kangaroo as well as branches and leaves. This is an early style, commercial boomerang and might be quite collectable. It does have some slight damage.
