Thompson is the son of artist Jimmy Nakurrudjilmi Nganjmirra and brother to Robin Nganjmirra. Born into a family of artists Thompson has painted since he was young and has become a senior artist at Injalak. Thompson uses fine lines and meticulous skill in his work.
