Taralyn started painting for Mbantua Gallery in 2023. On a bush trip out to Utopia in October of that year, canvas was given out to many regular artists at Atnwengerrp. Taralyn was waiting there and received her first canvas and paints.

Taralyn lives in Ampilatwatja with her husband Roy Clarke and sons. Roy is the son of Janice Clarke Kngwarreye and Wally Clarke Pwerle (dec), both Utopia artists. Taralyn's father is Simon Morton and her mother was from Yuendumu (dec). Taralyn's aunty, Colleen Morton, has been painting for Mbantua Gallery for many years.
