Glory was involved in the batik movement between the late 1970's and 1980's. Her work is represented in the 'Robert Holmes à Court' collection and her work can be seen in the publication 'Utopia - A Picture Story'.
Bush Plum Dreaming is from her father's country and was the main theme for her paintings. Honey Grevillea is from her mother's country and was represented in her silk batik. Glory had painted for Rodney Gooch, DACOU Gallery and Mbantua Gally. She was aunty to Gloria Petyarre.
Glory paints the story of the Ahakeye. This a very important story for Glory that belongs to her country, Ahalpere. The ahakeye, called bush plum in English by Glory, is also known as the native currant or citrus. This shrub produces small white flowers, deep green citrus-like leaves and the ahakeye, which are black when ripe and very small. This fruit is favoured for its sweet taste and can be reconstituted in water if dry.
