Cowboy Loy Pwerle is custodian of a secondary series of Dreaming sites in his country. The name Cowboy comes from his reputation as a stockman. He is married to two sisters, Carol and Elizabeth Kngwarreye who are both respected Utopia artists, and spends most of his time between camps in the Utopia Region.
Cowboy paints the Arwengerrp (Bush Turkey) story. This story is associated with the ancestral dreaming from his country, Iylentye (Mosquito Bore). The bush turkey is usually found in densely grassed areas and it is a favoured food for the aboriginal people. Hunting of it is still carried out today.
