Janie painted for over 10 years, with her main story being the bush orange, originally her father's dreaming. She used fine dots to represent the seeds of the bush orange. Her first painting for Mbantua Gallery was completed in November 2017. Janie's sisters, Katie and Pauline Morgan, are also painters. Although a very shy woman, Janie had a deep love for painting.
