Alfred Ross is the son of Lorna (nee Inkamala) and Les Ross. Alfred has lived in Alice Springs for many years where he paints and supplies his landscapes to the galleries. His style of paintings reflects the Hermannsburg School, painting the landscape associated with his country. Alfred uses a strong colour field and often includes rich blue greens to portray the Central Australian landscape.
