Trinity is the ninth child of well-established artists Paddy (dec) and Eileen Bird. He comes from a family deeply rooted in the arts, with his 10 siblings, parents, and grandmother, Ada Bird Petyarre, all having contributed to the legacy of painting for Mbantua Gallery. Although not a prolific painter, Trinity began his artistic journey on canvas in 2002.
Trinity's work focuses on the Mulga Seed Dreaming and Mulga Berries Dreaming, which depict the men gathering seeds and berries that fall from the mistletoe on the Mulga Tree.
Trinity paints the story of the Tyankern, a sweet edible berry that belongs to a type of mistletoe found growing on the mulga tree. This is a very important story for Trinity that belongs to his country, Ilkawerne (El-go-an-na) . This story, its songs, dances and symbols have been passed down to Trinity.
