The Milky Way in the southern hemisphere is viewed as a sacred residence for totemic beings. One constellation known as Pleiades has another meaning to the aboriginal people of Central Australia. The Seven Sisters Dreaming tells the journey of seven beautiful sisters who were pursued across the country by a man who wanted to seduce them. Their only escape was to the Milky Way where they became the stars of the Pleiades constellation.
