This is a very old craftsman like boomerang from the Central Desert area. It has been made from mulga wood in the early 20th century. It has a shiny patina and root ripple in the head. This boomerang has been fire hardened and has fluting across the wood. There is also evidence of charcoal, likely from fire prodding.
