'Living in the bush, I see lizards everyday. Cave geckos move around the house at night searching for insects. Bearded dragons frolic in the dust. Old Perentie pays a visit, looking for scraps from last night's Kangaroo hunt. I stand quietly, admiring their patterns, as if someone had hand painted them in all their details. Lizards all around inspiring me to paint them.' Kathleen Buzzacott, March 2013.
