Found the perfect artwork but would prefer to spread your payments over time? At Mbantua Gallery, we understand that purchasing an authentic Aboriginal artwork is a special investment. Our lay-by option allows you to secure your chosen artwork and pay gradually, making it easier to bring a meaningful piece of art into your home at a pace that suits your budget.

How to Place a Lay-By Order

Placing a lay-by purchase is simple:

  1. Add your chosen artwork(s) to your cart and proceed through checkout as usual.
  2. Select Lay-By Purchase as your payment method at checkout.
  3. Once we receive your order, our team will email you an invoice with details on how to make your initial deposit.

Lay-By Terms

  • A 20% deposit is required to secure your artwork.
  • The remaining balance must be paid within a maximum period of six months.
  • We recommend making regular monthly or fortnightly instalments; however, you are welcome to make payments at a schedule that works best for you.
  • You are welcome to complete your lay-by sooner at any time by paying the remaining balance in full.
  • Your artwork will be carefully stored by Mbantua Gallery until full payment has been received.

Making Payments

Credit Card

Your invoice will include a blue Pay Now button, allowing you to securely make payments online by credit card. You can use the same invoice link each time you wish to make an instalment payment.

Direct Deposit

If you prefer to pay via bank transfer, our account details will be provided on your invoice. Please include your order number as the payment reference so we can correctly allocate your payment.

When Your Lay-By Is Paid in Full

Once your final payment has been received, we will email you an updated paid invoice along with your Australia Post tracking details. Your artwork will then be carefully prepared, securely packed, and dispatched on its way to you.
