Belinda Golder Kngwarreye was born in 1988 in Alice Springs and is an Alyawarre artist from Alhalkere in the Utopia region of Central Australia. She grew up at Boundary Bore and is the daughter of Margaret Golder and Sammy Petyarre (deceased).

Belinda began painting in her twenties under the guidance of her grandmother, respected artist Polly Ngale. She also learnt from her sister Janet Golder, who has been painting with Mbantua Gallery for many years. Through the teachings of her family, Belinda has developed her own artistic practice while continuing the traditions passed down through generations.

Working with acrylic on canvas, Belinda paints important stories including Atnwelarre (Pencil Yam), Kame (Pencil Yam Seed) and Awelye (Women's Ceremony and Body Paint Designs). Her artworks reflect her connection to Country and the cultural knowledge shared with her by her family.

Belinda lives between Boundary Bore, Gillen Bore and Alice Springs with her children, continuing to paint and share the stories of her Country.
