Artwork Story
This is a hardwood shield, most likely from the North West of Western Australia. It has a shiny patina and would have been made sometime in the 1930's. This shield has been rubbed with charcoal and white ochre has been used in the design on the back. On the front there is a 'Serpent' movement design.
